Not Even Ash Wednesday

Here’s a video of a volcanic eruption in Iceland on March 1, 2009.

It’s not even Ash Wednesday, but this volcano in Iceland is blowing it’s top.

Thousands of flights are grounded all over Northern Europe waiting for the ash to dissipate or head in another direction.

A geophysicist in Iceland warned the chaos caused by ash drifting from the volcano under the Eyjafjallajokull glacier about 75 miles east of Reykjavik could cause trouble for days or weeks. “It is likely that the production of ash will continue at a comparable level for some days or weeks. But where it disrupts travel, that depends on the weather,” said Einar Kjartansson, a geophysicist at the Icelandic Meteorological Office. “It depends how the wind carries the ash.”

What will be next?  Will The Goracle or Danny Glover call a press conference and blame it on global warming?  Will the government try to carbon tax the volcano for being naughty and spewing out CO2? Will Pachauri come out with a new report stating that the glaciers in Iceland will melt by 2035? Will the EPA come out with new rules regulating volcanoes?

I bet all that ash floating around may cause some global cooling, and cause some “warmer alarmists” heads to spin.

Perhaps we should consider getting The Goracle to sacrifice a virgin to appease the Volcano God.

Pachauri: What? Me worry?

Per The Hindustan Times in this article Pachauri rules out stepping down even if UN panel finds fault…

Stating that the IPCC will make efforts to ensure that its fifth assessment report carries no errors, its chairman R K Pachauri has ruled out stepping down even if the UN-constituted review committee finds faults in the procedures followed by the climate panel.

Sounds like a case of “I have a fat head” and “I am perfect” rolled into one asshole.

To a poser on whether it was a system failure, he maintained it was more of a “procedural failure” and said, “We will do everything humanly possible to ensure that the error in the fourth report is not there in the fifth report.”

“Absolutely”, was his reply to a question on whether one single failure was being ‘taken out of proportion’.

“Absolutely. One error does not dilute the findings of the IPCC that the glaciers are melting,” he said.

One single failure? One error? That’s all? What’s this guy smoking?  Here’s a site with 54 errors form the 4th IPCC Report!  One error?  Also, let us not forget his ties to TATA, who got £2 Billion for closing the last steel making plant in the UK.

This guy needs to go, he has no credibility, except in his own delusional mind.

Smilin’ Bob Can’t Get It Up….Blames Global Warming

Smilin’ Bob can’t get it up even though he’s been takin’ them little pills.

He contacted the IPCC “Love Guru” Dr. Rajendra Pachauri about it.  Dr. Pachauri pointed out that it was yet another consequence of Anthropogenic Global Warming and that if he donated large sums of money to him and The Goracle his problem might go away.

He also signed Smilin’ Bob to star in his next porn flick…”Deep Climate” which is a takeoff on the latest theory that global warming causes anger.  He advises he will change the plot to be that global warming causes women to be horny and run around naked.

He is afraid that there is the possibility that if anyone sees the movie they may decide global warming is a good thing, but advises they can always get the CRU to devise a chart showing the opposite, and that everyone will believe it in spite of the fact that naked women are running around all over the globe.

If that fails, they can always hire The Goracle to do some propaganda for them.

Pachauri Sings "I've Got Big Balls"

pachauri1Is this who AC/DC wrote that song about?  The Great Dr. Pachauri?  The guy in charge of the IPCC? Whose report said the glaciers in the Himalayas would melt by 2035?  He must really has some big balls!  While he’s under investigation he’s singing…

I’ve got big balls
I’ve got big balls
They’re such big balls
And they’re dirty big balls
And he’s got big balls
And she’s got big balls
(But we’ve got the biggest balls of them all)

Based on this article in Times Online.

The outspoken chairman of the UN’s climate change body is to adopt a neutral advisory role and has agreed to stop making statements demanding new taxes and other radical policies on cutting emissions.

He also apologised for describing as “voodoo science” an Indian Government report which challenged the IPCC’s claims about the rapid melting of Himalayan glaciers.

My how magnanimous of him.  Sure he apologizes, now that he’s backed into a corner and the Co2 gravy train is about to end.

Here’s part of why I say he has big balls.

But Dr Pachauri, 70, rejected calls for his resignation and insisted he would remain as chairman until after publication of the IPCC’s next report in 2014.

He gets caught red-handed yet still refuses to resign.  What a guy.

“It is not correct to say there are people who don’t trust me,” he said.

So there are people who do trust him? I’ll bet that’s a short list if there ever was one!

Now here’s some really big balls!

Dr Pachauri said he wanted more power over the IPCC secretariat and an extra $1million (£671,000) a year to fund its work, on top of the $5million it already receives. The IPCC is planning to recruit more spin-doctors to help it promote its work and defend itself against attacks by climate sceptics. Dr Pachauri said that at present the organisation is “terribly ill-equipped” to communicate with the world’s media.

OK, so it’s I screwed up, I got caught red-handed, I tried to cover things up, but give me more money.  Can you believe it?   DIRTY BIG BALLS if there ever were any! Sounds like Wall Street…’ummmmm…. sorry I bankrupted the company but do I still get my $20 million bonus this year?’

Then, after all this he even has the audacity to claim he’s not making any money from all of this!

He rejected claims that he had personally profited from the many contracts he has to advise companies on climate change. All the money went to the charitable research institute which he heads, he said. He gave The Times a copy of his 2008-09 income tax return which showed earnings of £44,600.

A KPMG report into his financial relationship with The Energy and Resources Institute concluded: “No evidence was found that indicated personal fiduciary benefits accruing to Dr Pachauri from his various advisory roles that would have led to a conflict of interest.”

I wonder if one should beleive KPMG?  Based on these articles I would wonder.

KPMG to Pay $456 Million for Criminal Violations

KPMG Allowed Fraud at New Century, Report Says

Here’s a nice article in Telegraph.co.uk regarding his financial conflicts of interest and here’s the open letter (PDF) from Lord Monckton to Pachauri about his screw-ups.  You can read them and form your own opinion about this guy.  I think he needs to go.
