Yes, even Rick Perry gets the climate change fraud. From the Dallas Morning News…….
He offered a deeply skeptical view of the need to change energy policy to address climate change, asserting that “there are a substantial number of scientists who have manipulated data so that they would have dollars rolling in to their projects. We’re seeing it almost weekly or almost daily, scientists who are coming forward and questioning the original idea that manmade global warming is what is causing the climate to change.”
“The cost to the country and to the world of implementing these anti-carbon programs is in the billions if not in the trillions of dollars,” he said, and he would refuse based on questionable research.
I’d say stick with trillions because that’s what the UN, via the IPCC, is trying to screw the globe out of. So, if you don’t want another greentard in the White House Governor Perry might be a viable candidate for your vote as he’s one candidate without CO2 Insanity.

Are they already trying to be DOA by 2012?
The ballots haven’t even cooled off yet and we have what is either real evidence, or it’s wishful thinking by the warmer oriented Washington Post that the GOP is already backing down on investigating the massive fraud called global warming, climate change, climate disruptions, or my personal favorite term “climate bullshit.”
Last week there was widespread speculation that the GOP is planning to hold high profile hearings next year into the “scientific fraud” behind global warming. The news touched off a round of anxious commentary among liberals about the coming rash of GOP investigations and fake scandals.
The only problem is that it may not be true.
A spokesman for the leading Republican on the committee that would undertake such hearings tells me that isn’t the plan. And a senior GOP leadership aide says the leadership is cool to the idea.
OK who’s all of a sudden “cool” to this? John Boehner? Karl Rove? Moreover, why the sudden chill about global warming? Someone didn’t tell us about some investments? Someone dangling something in front of someone to get them to change their mind like massive campaign donations or promises?
I sincerely hope this is one of those BS wishful thinking pieces designed to make people think something that isn’t even remotely true. If it is, there’s going to be a whole lot of pissed-of Tea Partiers and voters. If the GOP does indeed not hold legitimate hearings, I for one will be re-thinking my votes in 2 years. Crap like this is what motivates the Tea Party.
If they fail to do this it’s more CO2 Insanity.
